Progressive Web App

Sometimes a company would like their app to be available on the Internet from a standard URL but also have the same application on the Android and iOS app store with minimal work to transfer the website version to the mobile app store. In this case it can be beneficial to use a PWA (progressive web app) to allow users of the website (URL) version from a traditional browser to download the app to their phones.

This means that, when a user is accessing a website from their phone, they can download the phone version of the site directly to their phones and install the phone app without having to visit the app store. A company can reduce costs for app development on the app store by circumventing the need for the app store using a PWA.
